SD Shortie: Exil's SecretI cant believe myself. Ive dont it again. I stole from the band mates again. My gambling keeps worsening. Risle is just such an addicting city. Im losing myself, slowly but surely. They cant figure out why the money keeps disappearing. Our last gig we earned 500 gold slips, enough to pay each of us 100. I am in charge of holding on to our cash, but I stole 200 and went to Risle. I know I need to stop, but Ive done it for so long I dont know. Maybe I need to see a therapist. I hear someone shuffling around the house, probably Sleek. Ill sleep on the idea of seeking professional help.
I was right about it being Sleek. I came close to confessing, but I just couldnt break it to him. Im now really afraid of them turning on me. This band has been the best thing going for me since I was Exiled from my home. Were even about to hit it big. A recording producer is going to be at Divine Tortures

No we didnt, Vincent said. We parked in red.
No, you were sitting behind Exil, and got confused with his red top-hat.
Vincent thought. Oh yeah
Seraph looked around. I dont see purple signs anywhere Soverin. I think were on the wrong floor.
We couldnt be. I remember coming in that part of Floura
a dangerous hallucinationThe light coming through the window was bright,
much too bright.
Even though my eyes were closed
I could see it-
The skin of my arms prickled,
sweat dripped from my brow.
It was two in the afternoon but…
the sun was setting
through the window facing east.
I should have seen the hutch,
shelves lined with bone china
decorated with delicate leaves and vines.
I was so thirsty
and reaching for cups that should have been there.
Instead I found a billboard of butterflies,
the colors raging
more than any rainbow
I'd ever seen.
Their wings fluttered and flashed
yet somehow they moved in slow motion.
I wanted to stand,
wanted to reach out and touch them but…
I couldn't move,
and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
There was a small vial
of insulin in my pocket
that I nev
