Hm, I read the bit about the owners part: maybe they have different pelts depending on what level of "tame" their on? Such as the most tame have sort of like a dog/grizzly bear type of coat, but it gets spiky/more "reptilian" like for the really deadly ones? I don't know just a random thought.

As for the name...I have to sleep on it. I'll try to come up with some underworld type name.
